Alma 17:11

And the Lord said unto them also: Go forth among the Lamanites, thy bretheren, and establish my word; yet ye shall be patient in long-suffering and afflictions, that ye may show forth good examples unto them in me, and I will make an instrument of thee in my hands unto the salvation of many souls.

June 19, 2013

Hey fam! Sorry I havent written for a WHILE, our pday was changed to yesterday to go to the Temple! But then, we didnt have a bus to come back to our homes in so we had to.......use other means of transportation (flying carpets) to come home. Well, not flying carpets... but we had to flag down a couple of busses!

So you guys are for sure going to sell the house! Where are you gonna move to? Is everyone excited? THANK GOODNESS that you`re moving while im not home, I think ive moved enough people for a lifetime!! haha just kidding

That`s great that Hayden got his call to Argentina! Haha I can speak in Vos with him when he gets back! lol Have they fixed the Visa problem with that dang country? From what I`ve seen and heard down here is that Argentina isnt giving ANY visas for the mormons........ maybe it`s different for the gringos though! HOPEFULLY!

SO, if im being honest I cant remember what happend last week! haha but this  week has been... good but not in a working sort of way! First, we are going to have the baptism for Hna D this saturday at 6! YAY! R is still SUPER upset that she decided to be baptized! But she says she doesnt care what he says! He wanted her to wait a couple more weeks to do it and she said that there was NO WAY that she would change the date because she knows it`s right! awesome lady , super pumped to see her baptized!

This week we have been trying to contact and ask for references more,........ hahaha this is when the people get upset at you! The ones we contact in the street are usually SUPER nice, but they dont wanna say no. So they tell us fake addresses and give us RANDOM telephone numbers so that when we get there or call it`s not even CLOSE to who it`s supposed to be! Then one time we asked for references with this older lady in my ward we went with some neighbors of hers. We get there and have a nice talk and the spirit was SUPER strong.... maybe it was only strong for us.... because at the end when we tried to put a return appointment they just told us that they only let us in becuase of the lady and that they didnt want to hear more.............. DANG IT! I`ve said it once and I`ll say it again, the worst part of the mission is when the people START to listen, but then they just deny everything... o well, that`s life!

So monday wasnt our Pday because we changed it for the Temple, we had a full day planned! Then at 11 at night on sunday the Office elders call us to say that Elder O (my comp) had to go to immigration to finish up his Visa for here in Guatemala. So we left and just spent the WHOLE day sitting in a big room waiting for things to happen, the goood thing is that Elder C from the MTC was there and we just sat and talked all day. It was fun, but we only taught 2 lessons........... which kinda stinks.

Then Yesterday we went to the TEMPLE!!! YAYA!!! I think we should be able to go there EVERY change, not only once every 6 months if your lucky! So that was great, made me super excited and more obedient in the mission! Then we went to Taco Bell! I think you guys take Taco Bell for granted because I havent had it in about 10 months and it was DELICIOUS!!! Spent 100 Q and just wanted to explode after! SO YUMMAY!!!

Then we came home late because our bus canceled himself while we were half way through the Temple... SO we had to take like a million busses to get home and didnt arrive till like 8! So there was no time to write!

Glad to hear that you guys are having fun! I was going to send pics of the temple but i forgot my adapter! So next week you`ll get them!

Love you guys a ton!

Alex
